So you showed up at the Long Island Dream Club with a dozen Titleists, and you left the 18th green at Cherry Creek Links with only three. A full sleeve disappeared into the drink when you tried to pull a Roy McAvoy through the wind at Montauk Downs. You tensed up in the face of Bethpage Black #4 and sliced a pair into the woods. In the meantime you snagged your new Nike shirt on a thorn trying to coax one out of a bush and waterlogged your shoes while fishing another from the pond at Long Island National. Looks like you'll need to restock.
Luckily the Dream Club is serviced by the Harbor Links pro shop. As Golfing Magazine editor Terrence Jordan says, there may not be a better place on any Long Island course to load up on new equipment. And while you're there, if your round at the Dream Club finally motivated you to practice with a purpose, Harbor Links is a great place to take lessons as well.
"While there are many fantastic pro shops on Long Island, most of the best are confined to private clubs. The pro shop at Harbor Links takes the cake with its wide selection of clubs and apparel, and it doesn't hurt that it's located at one of the best public courses in Nassau County."
