Beginning Wednesday, junior golfers will have the opportunity to play free golf at the Spring Lake Golf Club in Middle Island. Players 14 and under can turn their swings loose for free on the Sandpiper course when accompanied by a paying adult this summer. The deal is valid on Wednesdays and Thursdays in July and August, walking only.
Spring Lake's Sandpiper course is the nine-hole track at this 27-hole facility. It features a double-carry water hole -- the signature hole at Spring Lake -- to start the round, and a series of doglegged par-4s.
