Public Shotguns 9/29 at Lido Golf Club

The Lido Golf Club is hosting back-to-back public shotguns at 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29.  Sign-up includes lunch in the cafe.  Keep an eye on the Lido website for future shotgun starts and course events.

The waterside 18-hole course in Lido Beach sits between Reynolds Channel and the Atlantic Ocean, making wind a major factor.  Players must contend with the channel and a series of ponds and inlets throughout most of the back nine.  The course was selected by Newsday as one of the Island's best public courses in 2008, and its double-carry 16th hole is part of Newsday's Long Island Dream 18.
