Public Shotguns at Lido Golf Club

The Lido Golf Club is hosting public shotguns this week on Tuesday, May 18 and Thursday, May 20 at 7:30 a.m.  Mid-day rates apply and may include complimentary lunch.  The course will be closed in the afternoon at the conclusion of the round.  Keep an eye on the Lido website for future shotgun starts and course events.

The waterside 18-hole course in Lido Beach sits between Reynolds Channel and the Atlantic Ocean, making wind a major factor.  Players must contend with the channel and a series of ponds and inlets throughout most of the back nine.  The course was selected by Newsday as one of the Island's best public courses in 2008, and its double-carry 16th hole is part of Newsday's Long Island Dream 18.
