Thanks to Old Man Winter, the only golfing to be done on Long Island since Christmas has been in a simulator or on a Nintendo Wii. Still, keep an eye on these offseason rates just in case the grass emerges sometime in the near future.
- Mill Pond: $30 to walk, $40 to ride weekdays (residents), $40/50 weekdays (non-residents); $42 with cart on weekends (residents), $52 with cart on weekends (non-residents); all rates less after 12 p.m.
- Pine Hills: $29 to walk, $39 to ride weekdays; $35/45 weekends.
- Tallgrass: $40 to walk, $50 to ride 9 a.m. to noon; $30/40 after 12 p.m.
Contact the course pro shops or visit their websites for full details about rates and course conditions. Note that these do not represent discounted rates at all courses.
