It wouldn't be a true holiday without the Crab Meadow Golf Course running an early-morning outing and luring Long Islanders with the promise of food and free golf balls.
On Easter Sunday, April 24, golfers are invited to Northport for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start that will whisk players around the rolling layout and get them back home in time for the family party. The $65 golf special includes continental breakfast, motor cart, range balls and a complimentary sleeve of balls in addition to 18 holes on one of Suffolk County's most scenic courses. Breakfast begins at 7:45.
For those who want to stick around Northport or bring the family over to the course at the end of the outing, a special $29 Easter Brunch will be served in The View Restaurant on site. The course will be closed in the afternoon.
Call Crab Meadow at (631) 757-8800 to reserve your spot. And to read more about the Northport course, check out the Crab Meadow flyover.
