The Scleroderma Charity Golf Outing, held annually at Cherry Creek's Links Course in Riverhead, will tee off on Wednesday, June 26. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Scleroderma Foundation and Scleroderma Research Foundation in their quest to find a cure for a debilitating skin and tissue disease that affects an estimated 300,000 people in the United States.
The scramble tournament will begin with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. The $100 entry fee covers golf, cart, range balls, breakfast, refreshments and a 19th-hole barbecue. Contests will be held on the course and players will have opportunities to win 50/50 cash drawings and raffle prizes. To sign up for the event, visit the Cherry Creek Links pro shop or call (631) 369-6500 ext. 1.
