Golfers can help support Long Islanders with traumatic brain injury and play one of the Island's best-looking courses by registering for the third annual New Beginnings Community Center golf outing on Monday, May 12.
The afternoon event at Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai tees off at 1:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner, open bar and live/silent auctions. Snacks and drinks will be served during the round at the halfway house. Arrive at noon for check-in, range and lunch prior to the shotgun start.
Entry fee is $240 for individual golfers or $840 to register as a foursome ($30 savings per player). Dinner-only guests can participate for $100. To sign up as a player, foursome, sponsor or guest, visit the event website.
New Beginnings is a state-of-the-art facility designed to coordinate and provide rehab and management resources for patients with traumatic brain injury and other physical/cognitive disabilities. For more on NBCC's mission and services, check out the New Beginnings website.
And for more on the photogenic Willow Creek -- a sandy, watery layout with fast greens and big hazards designed by Stephen Kay -- take a look at the course flyover.
