The Southampton-based Last Chance Animal Rescue will hold its eighth annual golf outing on Monday, August 1 at Mill Pond Golf Course in Medford. All proceeds from the event benefit the non-profit organization's efforts to rescue animals from inhumane kill shelters and relocate them to safe facilities and foster homes.
Entry fee is $175 per player and includes golf, cart and range balls along with on-course lunch, beverages and contests. Format for the outing is team scramble, with consecutive tee times beginning at 9:00 a.m. Once again a $10,000 par-3 hole-in-one prize will be up for grabs on Mill Pond's 179-yard tenth.
An early-bird registration discount is available until May 15. Register online at the outing website and be sure to submit your tee-time preferences. Official tee times will be announced in July.
