September is aeration month at Long Island golf courses, and maintenance dates are good to know for local players planning their late-summer and fall rounds.
The following public golf courses will be closed for play (unless otherwise noted) while undergoing fairway and/or greens aeration. All dates below have been confirmed with representatives or posted online by the course.
Check back for updates on the courses currently listed as TBA, and for other modifications, as aeration dates are subject to change due to weather and other factors:
